If you are learning to drive and require driving lessons or have passed your driving test and require further driver training, Safestart is the driving school for you.All driving lessons in the Newark, Nottingham, Lincoln, Grantham, Mansfield, Ashfield areas are conducted by fully qualified DSA (driving standards agency) Approved Driving Instructors who have undergone the DSA vigorous training and assessment process. Our driving instructors are also members of the MSA, DIA,IAM or Rospa. Some of our driving instructors are also certified advanced trainers
Whilst we appreciate the benefit which trainee instructors (pink badge) get through giving tuition to learner drivers, we feel that our pupils deserve to receive tuition from dedicated fully qualified instructors.
Safestart Driver Training Centre was established in 1990 to provide a safe, secure driver training area and driving lessons away from the public highway for teaching the basic car controls and junction routines and procedures to any driver nervous about driving on the road and for pre-drivers under 17. The advantage being that once they reach 17 lessons can carry on with the same driving instructor on the road.
Safestart provides the following driving and motorcycle courses at our Newark Training Centre adjacent to Newark Showground:
FIRST DRIVE pre-driver under 17 driving experiences from the age of 14
HEADSTART Pre-driver Sessions for 16 - 17 Year Olds
Motorcycle Training - CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) and DAS (Direct Access) or Restricted 125 Access - taster sessions for complete beginners and refresher sessions for the "born again biker"
Safestart driving instructors provide driving lessons for learners on the road from the age of 17 in Newark, Southwell, Bingham, Bottesford, Nottingham, Radclife, West Bridgford, Colwick, Gedling, Netherfield, Burton Joyce, Calverton, Arnold, Carlton,Lowdham, Lambley, Rainworth,Mansfield, Ashfield, Lincoln, Grantham & surrounding areas
